DPRCD001 ScreamerClauz - Zombies Ate Out My Neighbors! (2005)
General Album information: This was my first CD! The title is a parody of the old school Sega/SNES video game called "Zombies Ate My Neightbors!". The game was fucking badass and I suggest you all get it if you never played it. Since I make horror techno music that sounds like video game music, the title seemed very fitting. Plus I got to draw a cover of a zombie eating a girls pussy, so it worked for everyone.
Track information/triva:
1. Satan Sold His Soul To Me - This was a segment taken from another track called "Satan Was An Acid Head" with samples from "I Drink Your Blood". The ending of the track was gonna be Horace Bones chanting Satan, but once it was finished I decided I really didn't like the track at all. One day I was fucking around with it trying to change the BPM's to maybe make the track better. As I was changing the BPMs around I noticed it sound pretty cool when it started slow and slowly gained speed. I decided to scrap the rest of the track and have it start at 80 BPMs and reach 999 BPMs. The result is what you hear today, I never finished the original track and if I do it'll be totally different. It originally ended with a 2 minute sample of David Cross talking about Satan, but I cut it out to save some time. I took the name from the mix I did which you can download here
2. Zombi Pt 2 - I Need Brains - Due to a fuck up with the pressing plant (which unfortunatly was all my fault so I couldn't even get any money back or anything) this track doesn't actually apear on the release, instead you get Zombi 2.5 - More Brains. It kinda sucks because it's one of my favorite tracks that I have ever done. You can download it for free here. Yes I know that Pt 2 comes before PT 1 but fuck you, Pink Floyd did it on The Wall so I can fucking do it too!
3. Bloody Underwear - There was about 4 completly different versions of this song before I could finally find one I liked, and that is the version you hear today. It has since become probably my most heard track and I haven't gotten much praise for it. The samples come from one of my favorite movies "Brain Damage" by Frank Henenlotter. You can download the track here or the music video here
4. Pretty Pink Cunt (2004 Mix) - There were 2 tracks that marked my transition from horrorible to, erm, "good" they were called "400-500 people" and "Pretty Pink Cunt". I exported unmastered test copies to MP3 just to fool around with when my harddrive fucked up and deleted ALL my FLPs and samples, but the MP3's remained. The MP3's were horrible quality but I always loved the tracks, I even put them on promo CD's that I used to give out at parties, Section 42 used to be a big fan of "Pretty Pink Cunt". But the track was not without flaws and the sound quality was shit so I never got to mix it and I decided I didn't want to give it away any more so it disappeared into obscurity. I decided in 2004 that I wanted to go back and redo a few tracks that I thought coud be much better, one was this one and the other was I Kick Ass For The Lord. I Kick Ass For The Lord is completly different from the original (other then the Dead Alive samples) but for this mix I kept the guitar riff only with a better sample and the ending remained the same, just better quality. The BPM's were knocked up quite a bit though. The finished product is probably my all time favorite of all my current work. The samples come from "Black Christmas." You can download the music video here
5. Duel Of The Fates - This is DJ Slyten's favorite of my work, many other people seem to like it too, he apparently gave it to the Berzerker when he played at Da Bunker and he dug it to but told me to turn up some of the background samples, unfortunatly the samples are gone and I cannot do that. The samples come from Star Wars obviously and the guitar riff comes from Marilyn Manson's score for Resident Evil, I hate that fucking movie but the guitar work was great, so I borrowed it.
6. I'm A Child Killer - After I did the music video for "You Gotta Make Them Stop" (which you can watch here I decided I wanted to make another Flash video where I killed a fuck load of babies, not really for any reason, I just thought it would be funny to kill a bunch of babies (yes my mind works like that). I had people submit photos again but this time I got fed up with flash and never made it. The track also got pushed back until I cared enough to do it, plus I wanted to find the best baby killing samples that I could. It was originally gonna be called "Child Murderers Are People Too". So over the next 2 years everytime I heard a sample about killing/raping/or beating babies/children I noted them down. I finally made the track about 1 week before I sent the master copy of the album off to the pressing company. It features samples from Doug Stanhope, Hell House, Titus, Sleepaway Camp, David Cross, and Dead Like Me. It's nasty child killing fun.
7. Jennifer Rapes Casey (Friendly Rape Mix) - For a period of time in late 2004 all of my music was comming out really cartoony and weird. It's cartoony and weird to begin with but it was really out of control at this point. One of the only tracks that survived that peroid of time was this one, in fact I can't even think of another one that did. I was talking to Meatsock on AIM at the time I was making this track and I was telling him about my cartoony track slump and he insisted I sent the track to him, after about 10 minutes of him driving me crazy I sent it to him (it's a little known fact that if you drive me crazy long enough I'll do anything you want just to get you to leave me alone, or I'll tell you to fuck yourself and probably stab out your eye socket and fuck the hole, but I like Meatsock) he took the track and decided to make his own mix, in the mean time I finished the original mix. 2 Days later he sent his remix that was really really good, he added much more samples and effects. I decided that I should release a "Jennifer Rapes Casey" web album with a friendly rape mix, a nasty rape mix, a Meatsock rape mix and maybe 1 or 2 more. I never went anywhere with the idea and decided to include the original (now known as "The Friendly Rape Mix) on the CD, I was gonna include Meatsock's remix too but I decided to just include a totally different track instead, but I'll probably include Meatsock's on my next CD.... if there is one. There has seriously been about 6 - 7 versions of the "Nasty Rape Mix" all of which I wasn't satisfied with, 2 of them became other tracks and the rest just sit on the harddrive collecting uuuuhhhh whatever the harddrive equivalent of dust is. You can download Meatsock's mix on his website: http://www.grep-fu.net. The samples come from Troma's "Terror Firmer"
8. Smooth Man - I barely remember making this track for some reason, I remember starting it and then one day it was just like, done. It has become one of my favorites and I made a music video for it where I dragged my at the time girlfrined out into the yard and killed her. You can watch the video here. The track name has since become a joke between me and my friends, sometimes we'll just be sitting there and one of us will say "Smooooth man" and everytime one of us writes a screenplay we usually include a reference to it in some way. The samples come from Faust: Love Of The Damned.
9. Zombi Pt 1 - After The Flesh - The plan was (and still basically is) to do a whole series of Zombie tracks. This was the first one that I ever did, it was an exclusive track on Tocsin's website for about a year or so, but is no longer availible there, it now has a home on this CD. Contains samples from Redneck Zombies, Serial Killers: The Real Life Hannible Lectors, Return Of The Living Dead, Night Of The Living Dead (Remake), Day Of The Dead, & Dawn of The Dead.
10. Zombi Pt 2.5 - More Brains - When I was making part 2 I got about half way through it and didn't know what direction to take the track in. It was creepy and atmospheric so far and decided that a blinding guit riff and some slamming drums would be a good change. Well it was a really god idea except now they didn't sound like the same track and it was about 8 minutes long. I decided to split the track in half and make a new ending for Pt. 2, Hence the title "2.5 - More Brains". Contains samples from Return Of The Living Dead and Day Of The Dead. Due to a fuck up, this is the second this track apears on this album, but that makes the album twice as good.......right??? You can see the music video here
11. Kill You & Fuck You - One day I was going through my samples and found some left over samples from Tromeo & Juliet where Juliets father is screaming "I'm gonna kill you and fuck you at the same time!" and I just had to make a track out of it. I found a guitar riff from Lamb Of God that was pretty brutal, so I borrowed it. This track is probably one of the hardests that I have done, it also has samples from Baby Blood, Deathrace 2000 & Nightbreed, all the movies a growing boy (or girl) needs. One time I was listening to it in my car and I was like "wow, there hasn't been a movie sample for like a minute and a half" so yeah, sorry about that.
12. Cindy & Alex - My female friends often wonder about me when they listen to this track, probably because half of the samples are of a girl getting cut up while the guy laughs. The samples come from "House On The Edge Of The Park" with the kind of sick fucks, David Hess! He plays a guy named Alex who basically breaks into these rich peoples house and fucks their shit up big time. In one of the scenes he holds down the virgin named Cindy and sings her a luliby before he starts slashing the shit out of her, Hence the name. The result was this which is usually recognized as rather sick and creepy, but you be the judge! or something. You can download the track
13. The Incredible Torture Show - There is about 3 or 4 versions of this track that I rejected before deciding to finish this one, the other ones were made during my "cartoony" stage that I talked about above. This track kind of bounces around a bit which isn't really a bad thing, at least it doesn't get repeative. The samples are from "Bloodsucking Freaks" which was originally titled "The Incredible Torture Show" so I decided to use that title.
14. Killed O'Donovan - Basket Case has always been one of my favorite movies ever since I was about 10. I always wanted to do a track with samples from it but never could think of what direction to go with it. I was originally going to do one called "What's in the basket?" but it never came out right, then one time I was fucking around and I made this track, this is another one I barely remember making but oh well. I go back and forth with my liking for this track but when it came time to press the CD again I decided I liked it, so here it is.
15. Maniac - Another mix of one of my favorite movies, Bill Lustig's "Maniac". I actually made this track while I was staying with Homie in KY, there was about 6 versions of this track before I found a version that I liked. When I first opened the MP3 section of this site this was one of the first tracks added and it was the one that everyone liked. It pops up now and then on peoples sites and discussions and such so I decided it might be a good idea to include it on the CD, so here it is! You can download the track
16. Make Them Die Slowly - This one was one of the tracks that was made right after I got out of my "Cartoony" faze, I think it was really the background score that made this track work. "Make Them Die Slowly" was the original name of "Cannibal Ferox" where all the samples come from, which is why I titled it that. Hhhmmm, I don't really have much to say about this track.
17. I Drink Your Blood & I Eat Your Skin - Included On the DVD version of "I Drink Your Blood" there is a trailer for a double feature in which they were showing a double feature featuring "I Drink Your Blood" and "I Eat Your Skin". The trailer had this annoucer guy thing that was trying to hype up the movie and sound creepy, he instead sounded really funny, at least to me. He says stuff like "What acts of sadism will this knife be used for??" haha I Just HAD to make a track out of it. It took me 4 tries, but I eventually made a version I was satisfied with!
18. How To Get Away With Murder - Last but not least is one of my older tracks. This was the first guitar track which featured a guitar sample borrowed from KMFDM which I believe they borrowed from someone else but I can't remember who at the second, it might have been Slayer. It also has a guitar sample from my favorite metal band Macabre. Movie samples include Henry Portrait Of A Serial Killer, Natural Born Killers, and American Psycho. I wasn't originally going to include it but my good friend Ivan The Silent Solider always tells me about this group of kids that drive around in CA blasting it in their car, so that must mean it's good. I really wish I could have mastered it better but the samples were lost in one of the many harddrive crashes. I sense a 2005 remix coming on....
